神使用的器皿

Jeremiah 18:6「耶和華說：以色列家啊，我待你們，豈不能照這窯匠弄泥嗎？以色列家啊，泥在窯匠的手中怎樣，你們在我的手中也怎樣。
6 “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter has done? declares the LORD. Behold, like the clay in the potters hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.

can I not do - That God has an absolute sovereign power to do what he pleases with the work of his hands: but he acts as a just judge, rendering to every man according to his works.
上帝擁有絕對的主權，能夠以自己的手做成自己想要的成品：但祂像公正的法官，根據祂的創造供應每個人。

我們常常興奮地向神宣示：「我已經發現自己的優點和恩賜。現在，我知道最能事奉祢的事工。」或是告知祂:「我知道自己的缺點，所以我知道有哪些事我無能力事奉祢。」這種心態不是陶土的特性。
We often declare to God with excitement: "I have discovered my strengths and gifts. Now, I know the ministry that can best serve you." Or tell him: "I know my shortcomings, so I know what kind of service that I am unable to serve you." This mentality is not the characteristic of clay.
「陶土」對自己毫無計畫，也沒有事奉的遠大抱負，更不會心不甘情不願地付出。它只是一塊柔軟可塑、完全順服主人意志的黏土。
"Clay" has no plans for itself, no lofty ambitions of ministry, and will not give unwillingly. It is just a piece of soft and plastic clay that completely obeys the masters will.
哥林多後書12:9~10
9他對我說：「我的恩典夠你用的，因為我的能力是在人的軟弱上顯得完全。」所以，我更喜歡誇自己的軟弱，好叫基督的能力覆庇我。10我為基督的緣故，就以軟弱、凌辱、急難、逼迫、困苦為可喜樂的；因我什麼時候軟弱，什麼時候就剛強了。
9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
上帝能塑造我們成為任何一種合祂使用的器皿，神使用你並不受自己個人認知的能力所限制。
God can shape us into any kind of vessel suitable for His use, and Gods use of you is not limited by your personal cognitive ability.
我們不是告訴神什麼是你能做的事、甚麼是你不能做的事，現在該是信靠祂塑造你成為祂計畫中的你，是合神使用的聖潔器皿，順服祂計畫的時候。
We are not telling God what we can do and what we can’t do. Now it’s time to trust Him to shape your suitability into His plan, a holy instrument suitable for God’s use, and to obey His plan.
