新年快樂

賽 43:19 看哪，我要做一件新事(2319 חָדָשׁ A new thing)；如今要發現，你們豈不知道嗎？我必在曠野開道路，在沙漠開江河。
A new thing - Such a work as was never yet done in the world. Now - The scripture often speaks of things at a great distance of time, as if they were now at hand; to make us sensible of the inconsiderableness of time, and all temporal things, in comparison of God, and eternal things; upon which account it is said, that a thousand years are in Gods sight but as one day.
傳 1:9已有的事後必再有；已行的事後必再行。日光之下並無新事(2319 חָדָ֖שׁ)。
There is - There is nothing in the world but a continued and tiresome repetition of the same things. The nature and course of the beings and affairs of the world, and the tempers of men, are the same that they ever were and shall ever be; and therefore, because no man ever yet received satisfaction from worldly things, it is vain for any person hereafter to expect it.
No new thing - In the nature of things, which might give us hopes of obtaining that satisfaction which hitherto things have not afforded.

上帝是創造的神，以從無中生有的大能，讓新事存在世界，為要榮耀神。而被造的人，只能發現已經存有的，做出人以為的新事，都只為想滿足人們的慾望。這種新事，不是為榮耀神，而是自私自利，屬人的驕傲，永遠無法滿足人。

賽43:18-19～耶和華如此說，你們不要記念從前的事，也不要思想古時的事。19看哪，我要作一件新事；如今要發現，你們豈不知道嗎？我必在曠野開道路，在沙漠開江河。
羅12:1-2～所以，弟兄們，我以神的慈悲勸你們，將身體獻上，當作活祭；是聖潔的，是神所喜悅的，你們如此事奉，乃是理所當然的。不要效法這個世界，只要心意更新而變化，叫你們察驗，何為神的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。
弗2:10～我們原是他的工作，在基督耶穌裡造成的，為要叫我們行善，就是神所預備叫我們行的。
新年恭喜！聖經說：「若有人在基督裏，他就是新造的人，舊事已過，都變成新的了。」（林後5:17）我們知道，新年不會讓人變新人，但「新人」卻能讓我們平安、喜樂、感恩，並帶著盼望過新年。
既然我們是上帝所揀選、有聖靈內住的「新造的人」，「舊事已過，都要變成新的」，那麼我們理當要做榮耀主名的「新事」:也就是我們這個人不再被自我主導，被慾望驅使，被罪惡轄制…，而是要：被聖靈引導、活在基督裡、與上帝同行，凡所思所行一切為榮耀主。
