《The Real Face of Moses 摩西真像》
※The most famous error in Western art
*Michelangelo’s 1515 statue Moses is one of the most celebrated sculptures in Western art. It depicts Moses nobly holding the tablets of the Law after descending from Mount Sinai for the second time. Remarkably, Moses has two horns on the top of his head! For centuries, millions of people around the world have wrongly believed that Moses had horns on his head! How did this happen?!
米開朗基羅的1515年「摩西」雕像是西方藝術中最著名的雕塑之一。它描繪了摩西在西奈山第二次下山後,尊貴地拿著兩塊法板。值得注意的是,摩西雕像有兩個角在他的頭頂!幾個世紀以來,全世界有數百萬人錯誤地認為摩西的頭上有角!這是怎麼發生的?!
※Moses – Lost in Translation
*This is actually a mistake caused by translation. The verse that describes Moses descending from Mount Sinai describes his face using the word karan קרן.
@~
出 34:29 摩西手裡拿著兩塊法版下西乃山的時候,不知道自己的面皮因耶和華和他說話就發了光。
29 When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, with the two tablets of the testimony in his hand as he came down from the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because he had been talking with God.

Shone;קָרַ֛ן
(7160) קרן qâran kaw-ran
A primitive root;
-①-to push or gore; used only as denominative from 7161[ קרן qeren keh-ren, (a.) horn, ] , to shoot out horns;(牛、羊等)用角牴破
-②-figuratively rays. 陽光shine

*However, in Hebrew this word can be read in two different ways:
(a.) keren (קֶרֶן) meaning "a horn" and
(b.) karan (קָרַן) which means "shone/was radiant".
Shone的希伯來發音不同,字意不同。
*In fact, the verse really says “he was not aware that his face was radiant (karan) because he had spoken with the Lord.”! (Exodus 34:29)
這節是指shone發光。
※The remedy: return to the Hebrew source
*The truth of the biblical stories can be found only in the original Hebrew of the scripture. This famous piece of art is just one example of the consequences of mistranslating the Bible. Rather than relying on translation, it’s time to learn the original Hebrew of the Bible for yourself.
這是翻譯造成問題,用希伯來文看聖經,可確認真相。
