《神的國…教會的興衰》
＊代下11:16以色列各支派中，凡立定心意尋求耶和華以色列神的，都隨從利未人，來到耶路撒冷祭祀耶和華他們列祖的神。17這樣，就堅固猶大國，使所羅門的兒子羅波安強盛三年，因為他們三年遵行大衛和所羅門的道(the way)。
They made him strong three years.
They strengthened the kingdom of Judah - ヾNot only by the addition of so many persons to it: ゝbut by their piety and prayers they procured a blessing upon the kingdom which was a sanctuary to them.
We retain our strength as long as we cleave to God and our duty. But when he forsook God, none could strengthen him.
＊代下12:2羅波安王第五年，埃及王示撒上來攻打耶路撒冷，因為王和民得罪了耶和華。
※神揀選了猶大國，敬畏神的百姓使這國得到祝福。但當神國上下不走在神的道中，神就管教。教會是神的國，若走在神的道中，神必使敬虔者加增，教會興旺。若教會背離神、沒有盡到責任，這教會必遭神管教，甚至為神所唾棄而只剩空無一人的教堂。
