bible is not a book of science.
whether the answer is YES or NO. youd ask the wrong question.
does anyone ask Confucius this question. can anyone find the answer in < Analects of Confucius 論語 > ? or Buddhas teaching?
then, why always seek scientific answers from Bible.
my point of view:
Bible speaks of Genesis ( Creationism ), which is the very opposite of Evolution. Men thinks they can explan everything with science. to prove that Genesis is wrong means that Evolution is correct. to be able to prove Creationism in Genesis is baseless will prove that Evolution is the truth.
