弗 4:15 惟用愛心說誠實話，凡事長進，連於元首基督，
15 but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, (NASB)
15 Rather, let our lives lovingly §express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).（AMP）

飛利浦．休斯(Philip E. Hughes)針對這一節經文寫道：「沒有一點藉口、私心、或欺謊，保羅的事工乃是表明、彰顯、並大膽宣告真理，以致於沒有人能否認他動機的純正與真誠。」
Paul once described his ministry as
(2 Corinthians 4:2)”We refuse to practice cunning …, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyones conscience in the sight of God.”
Philip E. Hughes wrote in response to this verse: "There is no excuse, selfishness, or deception. Pauls ministry is to express, manifest, and boldly declare the truth, so that no one can deny his motives, pure and sincere."
パウロはかつて自分のミニストリーを
(コリントの信徒への手紙二/ 04章 02節
謀によって歩まず、…、真理を明らかにし、神の前で自分自身をすべての人の良心に推薦します。)
と述べました。
フィリップE.ヒューズはこの節に応えて次のように書いています。「言い訳、利己主義、欺瞞はありません。パウロの働きは真実を示し、明らかにし、真実を大胆に宣言することです。」

我們必須效法保羅，不隱藏自己的動機與意圖，而是在面對前來尋求幫助的人時，坦誠開放地展現我們自己(甚至我們的想法)，唯有如此，對方才能在輔導過程中信任我們。
林後3:18我們眾人既然敞著臉得以看見主的榮光，好像從鏡子裡反照，就變成主的形狀，榮上加榮，如同從主的靈變成的。
We must imitate Paul and not hide our motives and intentions, but show ourselves (and even our thoughts) frankly and openly when facing people who come to seek help. Only in this way can the other party be trusted us in the counseling process.
2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
私たちはパウロに倣い、動機や意図を隠してはなりませんが、助けを求めに来る人々と向き合うときは、率直かつ率直に自分自身（そして私たちの考えさえ）を示さなければなりません。 この方法でのみ、相手はカウンセリングの過程で私たちを信頼することができます。
