上帝恩典裡的賞賜

太 5:45 這樣就可以作你們天父的兒子;因為他叫日頭照好人,也照歹人;降雨給義人,也給不義的人。
人類獲得來自創造主上帝的「恩典grace」都是白白的「賞賜gifts」,像陽光、空氣、水、…等等,原本都是普遍恩典,所有的被造因與創造主有正確的關係,都受上帝的保守與看顧。只是人類在墮落與神不和睦後,所有受造都因此受到影響,這恩典就分出特殊的賞賜與一般的賞賜。

聖經裡提及最重要的恩典,是上帝派祂的獨生愛子降世,為了救贖人類的罪而死在十字架上。這恩典是給所有的世人,但要得到這「得救」的賞賜,人必須相信這福音。一個不相信的人在世過聖誕節、配戴十字架、在教堂舉行婚姻、…,都與得救無關。這「救贖」的「恩典」原是普遍性的,但因世人的信與不信,「得救」與否就變成個人的「賞賜」。

上帝對各人的保守與看顧,是特殊的賞賜gifts,聖經提及最讓人深刻的是歌林多前書12章「屬靈的賞賜spiritual gifts」。這類「恩賜gifts」談得太多,以致提及「恩賜」就讓人以為是「屬靈能力」。慈愛的天父廣施恩典,每個人承受的保守與看顧有所不同,這些賞賜都有上帝的美意。

Romans 5:15 But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one mans trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many.
羅馬書 5:15 只是過犯不如恩賜,若因一人的過犯,眾人都死了,何況神的恩典,與那因耶穌基督一人恩典中的賞賜,豈不更加倍的臨到眾人嗎?
15 但恩賞和過犯是截然不同的;如果因著那一人的過犯,眾人都死了, 神的恩典和這一人耶穌基督在恩典裡的賞賜,對眾人就更加豐盛了。(新譯本)
