希1:1神既在古時藉著眾先知多次多方的曉諭列祖，1:2就在這末世藉著他兒子曉諭我們；又早已立他為承受萬有的，也曾藉著他創造諸世界。
1Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.

眾先知所用的方法有多種。他們通常是以言辭去表述，或用戲劇化的行動傳達。(王上11:29-32，耶13 :1-9; 27 :1-7;結4: 1-3; 5:1-4)

眾先知必須用人的方法去傳達他所領受的上帝的真理。但耶穌則不同，祂用整個自己來啟示上帝，而不是單靠言行顯示上帝的真像。
The prophets must use human methods to convey the truth of God that they have received. But Jesus was different. He used his whole self to reveal God, instead of showing Gods true image by words and deeds alone.
預言者たちは、受け取った神の真実を伝えるために人間の方法を使わなければなりませんが、イエスは異なっていました。彼は言葉や行いだけで神の真の姿を示すのではなく、自分自身を使って神を明らかにしました。
