Leviticus 19:32 “You shall stand up before the gray head and honor the face of an old man,
According to the etiquette of the Old Testament, when an old person enters the room, the young person inside has to stand up. This is said in a non-verbal way: "I respect and love you." This non-verbal communication is as important today as it was in the past, because it reveals our thoughts and attitudes towards others.
Once, I went to the company of a guest in Tochigi. As soon as I entered, someone handed slippers and everyone in the office stood up and waited until I entered the reception room. This is courtesy when paying attention to customers. The education when I was young also emphasized giving up seat for the old and weak.
Leviticus 19:32 and you shall fear your God: I am the LORD.
This section puts "fearing God" and "respecting people" side by side. In fact, only those who fear God can respect people forever. Businessmen, if they value interest more than the relationship between people, it means that they have no god in their hearts. Those who know God must respect people and treat them with the correct attitude.
