利未記十九章32節說: 「在白髮的人面前，你要站起來，也要尊敬老人。」
Leviticus 19:32 “You shall stand up before the gray head and honor the face of an old man,
根據舊約的禮儀，當老年人進入房內時，裡面的年輕人要站起來。這是以非言語的方式來說:「我敬愛你；我尊重你。」這種非言語溝通在今天與在過去同樣重要，因為它透露出我們對他人的想法、態度。
According to the etiquette of the Old Testament, when an old person enters the room, the young person inside has to stand up. This is said in a non-verbal way: "I respect and love you." This non-verbal communication is as important today as it was in the past, because it reveals our thoughts and attitudes towards others.

曾經，我去櫪木縣客人的公司，一進入，就有人遞上拖鞋，全辦公室的人都起立，直等到進入會客室。這是在重視客戶時的禮節。小時候的教育，也非常強調讓座老弱婦人。
Once, I went to the company of a guest in Tochigi. As soon as I entered, someone handed slippers and everyone in the office stood up and waited until I entered the reception room. 利未記十九章32下半說，又要敬畏你的神。我是耶和華。

這節將「敬畏神」與「尊重人」並列，事實上，只有敬畏神的人，才能永遠尊重人。商人，若看重利益過於人與人的關係，表示是心中無神的。認識神的人，必然尊重人，能以正確的態度對待人。
This section puts "fearing God" and "respecting people" side by side. In fact, only those who fear God can respect people forever. Businessmen, if they value interest more than the relationship between people, it means that they have no god in their hearts. Those who know God must respect people and treat them with the correct attitude.
