《你喜樂嗎？Do you have joy and peace in mind？》
有不信的人說：「人生滿是苦痛與艱難，還信甚麼基督！這也不能做！那也不能行！多可憐啊！多受罪啊！」
Some people who don’t believe in Jesus say, "Life is full of pain and hardship. I dont want be a Christian. This cant do! That cant do! What a pity! How suffering are!"

彼前1:5你們這因信蒙神能力保守的人，必能得著所預備，到末世要顯現的救恩。 6因此，你們是大有喜樂；
1Peter 1:5 who by Gods power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In this you rejoice,

保羅說：「只是我先前以為與我有益的，我現在因基督都當作有損的。不但如此，我也將萬事當作有損的，因我以認識我主基督耶穌為至寶。我為他已經丟棄萬事，看作糞土，為要得著基督……使我認識基督。」(腓3：7~10)
7 But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8 Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ… 10 that I may know him

保羅說他把失去的事物看作「糞土」，意思說不但不認為這些有何價值，也表示他心中不常常想念這些；正常的基督徒怎會花時間思念糞土呢？但事實上，我們許多人仍然確實這樣思慮勞煩。這顯出我們對神的認識是何等的缺乏！
Paul said that he regarded lost things as "rubbish", meaning that not only did he not think it had any value, but he also said that he didnt always mind it. How can Christian waste time thinking about the "rubbish"? But in fact, many of us still think and worry like this. This shows how lacking our knowledge of God is!

彼前1:6但如今，在百般的試煉中暫時憂愁，7叫你們的信心既被試驗，就比那被火試驗仍然能壞的金子更顯寶貴，可以在耶穌基督顯現的時候得著稱讚、榮耀、尊貴。
1Peter 1:6 though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials,7 so that the tested genuineness of your faith--more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire--may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
