《在聖靈裡禱告》

猶 1:20 親愛的弟兄啊，你們卻要在至聖的真道上造就自己，在聖靈裡禱告，
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Verse 20
But ye, beloved, not separating, but building yourselves up in your most holy faith - Than which none can be more holy in itself, or more conducive to the most refined and exalted holiness.
Praying through the Holy Spirit - Who alone is able to build you up, as he alone laid the foundation.

We are urged to resist the devils enticements and reject the godless way of Cain, the greedy error of Baalam and the rebellious attitude of Korah. We are to build ourselves up in our most holy faith, where the cross of Christ is central and we depend entirely upon our heavenly Father in all things - by walking in spirit and truth, living godly in Christ Jesus and praying at all times in the power of the Holy Ghost.
むしろ、私たちは悪魔の誘惑に抵抗し、カインの神のない道、バーラムの貪欲な誤り、そしてコラの反抗的な態度を拒絶するように促されます。 私たちは、キリストの十字架が中心であり、すべてのことにおいて天の父に完全に依存している最も聖なる信仰の中で自分自身を築き上げなければなりません-霊と真理を歩み、キリスト・イエスの中で敬虔に生き、そして常に 聖霊の力中で　祈ります。
We are to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ, and to guide them towards sound doctrine, for the time has come when men are departing from the faith and will not put up with wholesome teaching at all.
我們要鼓勵我們在基督裡的兄弟姐妹，並引導他們邁向正確的教義，因為人們離開信仰而完全不接受有益健康的教導的時代已經來臨。

But we are also commanded to pray in the spirit, which means that we are to lay aside our fleshly nature and be lead and guided by the Lord, in accordance with the will of God. We are to pray in spirit and truth, and not to pray in accordance with our own selfish desires or by making our own foolish and prideful “declarations, which are so dishonouring to the Lord. We are to recognise the impotency of repetitive prayers that are reiterated carelessly and mechanically in preference to the tender promptings of the Holy Spirit in the heart... and His gentle guidance through the Word of Truth.
但是我們也被命令本著聖靈祈禱，這意味著我們要拋棄我們肉體的本性，並按照上帝的旨意由主帶領和引導。 我們要本著聖靈和真理祈禱，而不是按照我們自己的自私慾望或通過我們自己做出的愚蠢和自大的「宣告」祈禱，而這對主來說是不光彩的。 我們要認識到重複禱告的無能，這種禱告在心中無視於聖靈的溫柔提示和祂透過真理之道的溫柔指導，不慎重而機械似地重複宣告。
