《The fourth day of Resurrection》
John 11:26凡活著信我的人必永遠不死。
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.

John 11:
1有一個患病的人，名叫拉撒路，住在伯大尼，就是馬利亞和他姐姐馬大的村莊。2這馬利亞就是那用香膏抹主，又用頭髮擦他腳的；患病的拉撒路是他的兄弟。3他姊妹兩個就打發人去見耶穌，說：「主啊，你所愛的人病了。」4耶穌聽見，就說：「這病不至於死，乃是為神的榮耀，叫神的兒子因此得榮耀。」5耶穌素來愛馬大和他妹子並拉撒路。6
聽見拉撒路病了。就在所居之地仍住了兩天。
14耶穌就明明的告訴他們說：「拉撒路死了。15我沒有在那裡就歡喜，這是為你們的緣故，好叫你們相信。如今我們可以往他那裡去吧。」
17耶穌到了，就知道拉撒路在墳墓裡已經四天了。

**The name of "Lazarus" means "God helps" and Gods help is proved directly through his resurrection.

**Jesus decided to stay two more days where he was even though he heard that Lazaruss condition was getting worse. It was after four days that Lazarus was dead and buried when he arrived at Bethany (meaning "the House of the poor" in Hebrew language).

**Lazarus sister, Maria, says to Jesus, "Lazarus would have lived if you were on time." Despite the idea that everyone was late, Jesus resurrected the dead Lazarus.

**In fact, before we read this story, we must learn about what the Jewish culture of the time was.
The Jewish postmortem idea of the time was that, for three days after his death, he believed that the soul did not leave completely but moved around the body.

**If Jesus had saved the dead Lazarus before that, they would not have believed in Jesus power and misunderstood that the soul had returned. Jesus intentionally set his time for the fourth time to eradicate this distrust, and said to those who doubted, "I am the resurrection and the life, and he that believeth on me shall live, even if he die" (John 11:25).
