詩59
1(掃羅打發人窺探大衛的房屋，要殺他。那時，大衛用這金詩，交與伶長。調用休要毀壞。)我的神啊，求祢救我脫離仇敵，把我安置在高處，得脫那些起來攻擊我的人。
2求祢救我脫離作孽的人和喜愛流人血的人！
3因為，他們埋伏要害我的命；有能力的人聚集來攻擊我。耶和華啊，這不是為我的過犯，也不是為我的罪愆。
4我雖然無過，他們預備整齊，跑來攻擊我。求祢興起鑒察，幫助我！
5萬軍之神耶和華以色列的神啊！求祢興起，懲治萬邦！不要憐憫行詭詐的惡人！(細拉)
6他們晚上轉回，叫號如狗，圍城繞行。
7他們口中噴吐惡言，嘴裡有刀；他們說：有誰聽見？
8但祢耶和華必笑話他們；祢要嗤笑萬邦。
9我的力量啊，我必仰望祢，因為神是我的高臺。
10我的神要以慈愛迎接我；神要叫我看見我仇敵遭報。
11不要殺他們，恐怕我的民忘記。主啊，祢是我們的盾牌；求祢用祢的能力使他們四散，且降為卑。
12因他們口中的罪和嘴裡的言語，並咒罵虛謊的話，願他們在驕傲之中被纏住了。
13求祢發怒，使他們消滅，以至歸於無有，叫他們知道神在雅個中間掌權，直到地極。(細拉)
14到了晚上，任憑他們轉回；任憑他們叫號如狗，圍城繞行。
15他們必走來走去，尋找食物，若不得飽就終夜在外。
16但我要歌頌祢的力量，早晨要高唱祢的慈愛；因為祢作過我的高臺，在我急難的日子作過我的避難所。
17我的力量啊，我要歌頌祢；因為神是我的高臺，是賜恩與我的神。
Psalms 59
1 Deliver me from my enemies, O God; be my fortress against those who are attacking me.
2 Deliver me from evildoers and save me from those who are after my blood.
3 See how they lie In wait for me! Fierce men conspire against me for no offense or sin of mine, Lord.
4 I have done no wrong, yet they are ready to attack me. Arise to help me; look on my plight!
5 You, Lord God Almighty, you who are the God of Israel, rouse yourself to punish all the nations; show no mercy to wicked traitors.
6 They return at evening, snarling like dogs, and prowl about the city.
7 See what they spew from their mouths- the words from their lips are sharp as swords, and they think. “Who can hear us?”
8 But you laugh at them, Lord; you scoff at all those nations.
9 You are my strength, I watch for you; you, God, are my fortress,
10 my God on whom I can rely. God will go before me and will let me gloat over those who slander me.
11 But do not kill them, Lord our shield, or my people will forget. In your might uproot them and bring them down.
12 For the sins of their mouths, for the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride. For the curses and lies they utter,
13 consume them in your wrath, consume them till they are no more. Then it will be known to the ends of the earth that God rules over Jacob.
14 They return at evening, snarling like dogs, and prowl about the city.
15 They wander about for food and howl if not satisfied.
16 But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
17 You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.
詩60
1(大衛與兩河間的亞蘭並瑣巴的亞蘭爭戰的時候，約押轉回，在鹽谷攻擊以東，殺了一萬二千人。那時，大衛作這金詩叫人學習，交與伶長。調用為證的百合花。)神啊，祢丟棄了我們，使我們破敗；祢向我們發怒，求祢使我們復興！
2祢使地震動，而且崩裂；求祢將裂口醫好，因為地搖動。
3祢叫祢的民遇見艱難；祢叫我們喝那使人東倒西歪的酒。
4祢把旌旗賜給敬畏祢的人，可以為真理揚起來。(細拉)
5求祢應允我們，用右手拯救我們，好叫祢所親愛的人得救。
6神已經指著祂的聖潔說(說：或作應許我)：我要歡樂；我要分開示劍，丈量疏割谷。
7基列是我的，瑪拿西也是我的。以法蓮是護衛我頭的；猶大是我的杖。
8摩押是我的沐浴盆；我要向以東拋鞋。非利士啊，你還能因我歡呼嗎？
9誰能領我進堅固城？誰能引我到以東地？
10神啊，祢不是丟棄了我們嗎？神啊。祢不和我們的軍兵同去嗎？
11求祢幫助我們攻擊敵人，因為人的幫助是枉然的。
12我們倚靠神才得施展大能，因為踐踏我們敵人的就是祂。
Psalms 60
1 You have rejected us, God, and burst upon us; you have been angry-now restore us!
2 You have shaken the land and torn it open; mend its fractures, for it is quaking.
3 You have shown your people desperate times; you have given us wine that makes us stagger.
4 But for those who fear you, you have raised a banner to be unfurled against the bow.
5 Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered.
6 God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.
7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah is my scepter.
8 Moab is my washbasin, on Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
9 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
10 Is it not you, God, you who have now rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?
11 Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless.
12 With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.
