詩79
1(亞薩的詩。)神啊，外邦人進入祢的產業，污穢祢的聖殿，使耶路撒冷變成荒堆，
2把祢僕人的屍首交與天空的飛鳥為食，把祢聖民的肉交與地上的野獸，
3在耶路撒冷周圍流他們的血如水，無人葬埋。
4我們成為鄰國的羞辱，成為我們四圍人的嗤笑譏刺。
5耶和華啊，這到幾時呢？祢要動怒到永遠嗎？祢的憤恨要如火焚燒嗎？
6願祢將祢的忿怒倒在那不認識祢的外邦和那不求告祢名的國度。
7因為他們吞了雅各，把祂的住處變為荒場。
8求祢不要記念我們先祖的罪孽，向我們追討；願祢的慈悲快迎著我們，因為我們落到極卑微的地步。
9拯救我們的神啊，求祢因祢名的榮耀幫助我們！為祢名的緣故搭救我們，赦免我們的罪。
10為何容外邦人說「他們的神在那裡」呢？願祢使外邦人知道祢在我們眼前伸祢僕人流血的冤。
11願被囚之人的嘆息達到祢面前；願祢按祢的大能力存留那些將要死的人。
12主啊，願祢將我們鄰邦所羞辱祢的羞辱加七倍歸到他們身上。
13這樣，祢的民，祢草場的羊，要稱謝祢，直到永遠；要述說讚美祢的話，直到萬代。
Psalms 79
1 O God, the nations have invaded your inheritance; they have defiled your holy temple, they have reduced Jerusalem to rubble.
2 They have left the dead bodies of your servants as food for the birds of the sky, the flesh of your own people for the animals of the wild.
3 They have poured out blood like water all around Jerusalem, and there is no one to bury the dead.
4 We are objects of contempt to our neighbors, of scorn and derision to those around us.
5 How long, Lord? Will you be angry forever? How long will your jealousy burn like fire?
6 Pour out your wrath on the nations that do not acknowledge you, on the kingdoms that do not call on your name;
7 for they have devoured Jacob and devastated his homeland.
8 Do not hold against us the sins of past generations; may your mercy come quickly to meet us, for we are in desperate need.
9 Help us, God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name’s sake.
10 Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Before our eyes, make known among the nations that you avenge the outpoured blood of your servants.
11 May the groans of the prisoners come before you; with your strong arm preserve those condemned to die.
12 Pay back into the laps of our neighbors seven times the contempt they have hurled at you, Lord.
13 Then we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will praise you forever; from generation to generation we will proclaim your praise.
詩80
1(亞薩的詩，交與伶長。調用為證的百合花。)領約瑟如領羊群之以色列的牧者啊，求祢留心聽！坐在二基路伯上的啊，求祢發出光來！
2在以法蓮、便雅憫、瑪拿西前面施展祢的大能，來救我們。
3神啊，求祢使我們回轉(或作：復興)，使祢的臉發光，我們便要得救！
4耶和華萬軍之神啊，祢向祢百姓的禱告發怒，要到幾時呢？
5祢以眼淚當食物給他們吃，又多量出眼淚給他們喝。
6祢使鄰邦因我們分爭；我們的仇敵彼此戲笑。
7萬軍之神啊，求祢使我們回轉，使祢的臉發光，我們便要得救！
8祢從埃及挪出一棵葡萄樹，趕出外邦人，把這樹栽上。
9祢在這樹根前預備了地方，他就深深扎根，爬滿了地。
10他的影子遮滿了山，枝子好像佳美的香柏樹。
11他發出枝子，長到大海，發出蔓子，延到大河。
12祢為何拆毀這樹的籬笆，任憑一切過路的人摘取？
13林中出來的野豬把他踐踏；野地的走獸拿他當食物。
14萬軍之神啊，求祢回轉！從天上垂看，眷顧這葡萄樹，
15保護祢右手所栽的和祢為自己所堅固的枝子。
16這樹已經被火焚燒，被刀砍伐；他們因祢臉上的怒容就滅亡了。
17願祢的手扶持祢右邊的人，就是祢為自己所堅固的人子。
18這樣，我們便不退後離開祢；求祢救活我們，我們就要求告祢的名。
19耶和華萬軍之神啊，求祢使我們回轉，使祢的臉發光，我們便要得救！
Psalms 80
1 Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock. You who sit enthroned between the cherubim, shine forth
2 before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh. Awaken your might; come and save us.
3 Restore us, O God; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.
4 How long, Lord God Almighty, will your anger smolder against the prayers of your people?
5 You have fed them with the bread of tears; you have made them drink tears by the bowlful.
6 You have made us an object of derision to our neighbors, and our enemies mock us.
7 Restore us, God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.
8 You transplanted a vine from Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it.
9 You cleared the ground for it, and it took root and filled the land.
10 The mountains were covered with its shade, the mighty cedars with its branches.
11 Its branches reached as far as the Sea, its shoots as far as the River. That is, the Euphrates.
12 Why have you broken down its walls so that all who pass by pick its grapes?
13 Boars from the forest ravage it, and insects from the fields feed on it.
14 Return to us, God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! Watch over this vine,
15 the root your right hand has planted, the son you have raised up for yourself.
16 Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire; at your rebuke your people perish.
17 Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself.
18 Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name.
19 Restore us, Lord God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.
