1-3節--神有否向你說話？

希伯來書 第1章

這是一封寫給第一世紀希伯來基督徒的書信，它與新約其他書信有很多不同的地方。它沒有在信首指出誰人是作者，反而以「神」來作為書信的開頭。讀者一開始便被帶到神的面前，面對面地認識神。神當然是萬物之源始，包括這受造的世界和整個救恩計劃，都是始於神自己。

作者一開始便指出神的第一項工作，是發出祂的話語。對於這個事實，我們可能已經耳熟能詳，於是便忽略它是有關神的其中一個最重要真理。詩篇一一五篇描述異教徒所信奉的偶像，是「有口卻不能言，有眼卻不能看，有耳卻不能聽…有喉嚨也不能出聲」；然而我們的神卻不單能發出言語，祂更是一個永活和慈愛的神。

神為何要說話呢？祂如果不向我們說話，我們怎能認識祂呢？神首先藉著眾先知，再藉著祂的兒子向人說話。舊約時代雖然出現過許多先知，但他們只得著神的一部分啟示。然而，耶穌基督卻是神的最終啟示，也是最完全的啟示。只有耶穌基督才能宣稱「凡見過我的，就是見過父」。

神已經向人類說話，你有沒有聽見祂的話呢？祂不單是向全世界說話，更是在我們各人的心中，個別地向我們說話。我們必須張開耳朵和敞開心靈來聆聽祂的話語。

「主啊，我願意隨時聆聽你的說話，你要向我說甚麼呢？」

HAS GOD SPOKEN TO YOU?

In many ways this letter to the Hebrew Christians of the first century is different from all the other epistles. It begins without telling us who wrote it. It begins with the word God. We are brought face to face with him. God of course is the beginning of everything-the world, salvation and all that has ever existed.

What has God done? He has spoken. We are accustomed to this fact, yet this is one of the most wonderful truths about our God. Psalm 115 describes the gods of the heathen as being unable to speak, see or hear. Our God does all that and more. He is living and he is loving.

Why was it necessary for God to speak? How would we know about him if he had not spoken to us? He spoke through the prophets and then through his Son. The prophets were many, but gave only parts of Gods revelation. Jesus Christ is the final, complete revelation of God. He alone was able to say he that has seen me has seen the Father.

God has spoken. Have you been listening to what he has been saying? He has not only spoken to the whole world, but he wants to speak to each individual heart also. Our ears and our hearts should always be open to his voice.
