1-9節--神為婚姻所定立的旨意

馬可福音 第10章

基督與門徒由北面的加利利一直走到南面的猶大。他們已經愈來愈接近耶路撒冷；而對基督來說，祂知道自己快將踏上十字架的道路。

猶太人的領袖一見到耶穌，就立即爭取機會去試探祂，希望找到攻擊祂的把柄。於是，他們便拿出神頒布給摩西及猶太百姓的一些律法，來詰問耶穌的看法。

主耶穌卻藉著這個機會，重申神為婚姻所定下的旨意。神原初的心意，是要夫妻二人白頭到老，永不分開。而且，夫妻二人成為一體的關係，更重於其他的人倫關係。只因人達不到神的要求，所以神才容許夫婦出現離婚。

神的旨意至今也沒有改變。神期望做丈夫的永遠忠於自己的妻子；做妻子的永遠忠於自己的丈夫。二人相愛的心，將緊緊地將他們連結在一起，廝守終身，永不分離。

然而，今天的社會已難尋這種美滿的婚姻。當婚姻關係出現問題時，愈來愈多夫婦輕言離婚，也不願意付出努力去作出改善。

但神的心意是要我們作基督徒的，在世人面前見證夫妻二人活在愛中的幸福婚姻。因此，年輕的信徒必須認真地面對婚姻的要求、審慎地選擇將來的配偶。我們必須將這終身大事交在神的手中，尋求神的帶領，並認真改善自己的缺點；這樣，按照神的旨意，必能獲得美滿幸福、恆久不渝的婚姻。

禱告：

「主啊，願我的婚姻和家庭能討你的喜悅和祝福。願別人看見你是我們的一家之主。」

GODS PLAN FOR FAMILY LIFE
BIBLE READING: Mark 10:1-9

Christ and his disciples had travelled down from Galilee in the north to Judea in the south. Now he was much closer to Jerusalem and the cross.

Some of the Jewish leaders tried to trick him by asking questions about the laws given by God to Moses and the Jewish people.

Our Lord took the opportunity of emphasising again Gods plan for family life. From the beginning God planned that a husband and wife should live together until death separated them. It was a union that took first place over other family relationships. Only because men and women did not live up to Gods standards, did God allow divorce to come into the picture.

Gods plan is still the same today. God wants a husband to be faithful to his wife and the wife to be faithful to her husband. The bond of true love should hold them together as well as their faithfulness.

This is not easy today. So many people find it easier to separate than to live up to the demands of married life.

But God wants to show to the world how wonderful it is to be joined together in love. Christian young people should be very careful in giving themselves to one another in marriage. If they will allow God to choose their partner for them, there is every possibility that they will live happily ever after!

A PRAYER:

Lord help our family life to be what you want it to be. Let others see Jesus living in our home.
