1-5節--為何要研讀加拉太書？

加拉太書 第1章

一卷在一千九百多年寫成的書信，還可以對今天發出甚麼信息呢？當你研讀加拉太書的時候，你可能發覺有某些部分不易明白，因為當中談及的，似乎與猶太人的傳統習俗有關。它為何放在新約?呢？

然而，加拉太書所處理的問題，其實非常對應今天的需要。如果我們發現，?面的信息涉及自由、罪疚、張力和衝突，你是否覺得很切合時宜呢？加拉太書正處理這些問題，尤其是自由的問題。我們在基督?已獲得寶貴的自由，可是，卻必須是聖靈掌管下所運用的自由。

此外，它還談及處理衝突，尤其是內心的衝突。當我們立志從善，內心便總會有某些力量要阻撓我們或引誘我們去行惡。加拉太書教導我們怎樣處理這個問題。當你細讀本書，便會發覺得益甚大，甚至遠勝過往所讀的其他書本。

這卷書是誰寫的？正是使徒保羅。我們將會發現，他是最適合的人物去引導讀者思考書中的主題。他能夠清晰地點出問題，又能夠明確地指示出路。

這是保羅寫給加拉太教會的書信。加拉太的位置，大概就是現在土耳其的首都安卡拉。保羅寫這封書信給加拉太信徒，乃因發現有一些錯誤的教義偷偷潛入他們當中，他當然不能坐視不理。

他陳詞逼切地將內心的感受和叮嚀一一記下(或講給抄寫員聽，叫他執筆記下)，所以，偶爾當他意念一轉，便會有些好像思想不連貫的地方出現。但無論如何，它都是在聖靈的默示下寫成，讓我們敞開心靈，一齊研讀它吧！

WHY STUDY GALATIANS?

What does a letter 1900 years old, have to say to us today? You will find as you read it that it may not be easy to follow in some parts. It seems to be all about Jewish customs. Why is it in the New Testament?

But it deals with matters that are extremely relevant today. What about the words - freedom, guilt, tension, conflict? Do they sound up-to-date? They are all dealt with in Galatians. especially the concept of freedom. In Christ we are wonderfully free - but that freedom must be under the control of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

What about conflict, especially conflict within? When you want to do the right thing. theres always something within you which makes you want to do something else. The letter to the Galatians will tell you how to deal with this. It can be one of the most helpful books you have ever studied.

Who wrote this letter? Paul the apostle. We will see how he was the very best person possible to do so. He was able to point up the problem, and point to the remedy.

Paul was writing to the churches in Galatia, probably in the area around the modern city of Ankara, Turkey. Why did he write? Because false doctrine had crept into the churches there. Nothing stirred Paul more than false doctrine.

He wrote (or dictated) just as the thoughts came to him. It tumbled out like a letter written under deep emotion. That is why sometimes it seems a little disjointed. But it was all under the guiding.
